Although there have been many remarkable moments i Although there have been many remarkable moments in my musical career over the decades, this one is extra special! My friends, I’m proud to present, “DOS,” a collaboration between two of my best friends and favorite musical collaborators: Random Rab and Ilya Goldberg. My musical journey with Rab started waaaay back in the last millenia, and hit its first peak moment in 2001 when we performed the Epicycle album release party live at the Ashland Armory. Rab first introduced me to Ilya at a Random Rab Live show at the Fox Theater in Boulder in 2010, where together we built the one and only Infinity Cube. Since then, we’ve created beautiful music together in many amazing places and with some fantastic musicians, including headlining Red Rocks with Emancipator in 2018 and 2019. Rab and Ilya recently came up with the “Dad’s On Stage” concept, not only as an outlet for a deeper layer of sonic alchemy, but as a reflection of their deep friendship, dad life, and musical self-discovery. As the process evolved, Rab and Ilya decided that it was time to call in one of their best friends and fellow dads, Custom Phil, to spice up the vibes and blow up some of their tracks. In the spirit of friendship, fatherhood, and epic musical collaboration, Custom, who has played an instrumental role in the composition of many of the fresh DOS tracks, will be joining Rab and Ilya at Ophelias! Known for his explosive percussion and beautifully drawn melodic lines, Custom Phil is the man to call when you need a Legendary Fill! To add to the excitement of premiering this project at the epic @opheliasden, this will also be the Album Release Party! We’ve devoted countless hours to creating DOS and we are very happy with the beautiful songs on this self-titled, full length debut album, which will drop about a week before the show!
